Dumpling Lab, a contemporary Tsingtao - inspired gastropub, is located in the East Village, New York. Tsingtao, known for its beer, has rich offerings of the most flavorful seafood in Northern China. Seafood dumplings and Chinese tapas are the main focus at Dumpling Lab.
We went to this restaurant for dinner yesterday, the restaurant was very modern and clean. The food were flavorful and fresh and my most favorite was the Shrimp Toast. We definitely will go back again.
So delicious! The truffle dumplings were unlike any other dumpling I've had. Really wonderful flavors, perfect dumpling wrapper thickness, would def come again!
So insanely good! I especially loved the truffle dumplings, but everything was fabulous, including the cocktails, Szechuan dumplings, zucchini and cucumber dumplings, and cucumber salad.
Delicious and unusual dumplings. I tried the mackerel, uni, and zucchini, all deelish. You do all the ordering on your phone so if you walk in and it seems like there are no wait staff, don't worry. Just sit yourself down, pull up the menu or your phone, and enjoy some amazing dumplings.
What an interesting place. Didn't realize there was a downstairs and upon finding the other part of my party, realized we had the whole lower level to ourselves. So that was kinda cool. Food was delicious with my favorite, Unagi dumplings....and of course the truffle ones...
